Muscovy duck
Came across this beautiful Muscovy Duck while exploring a park near Miami, Florida.
Pre-dawn in the desert
Taken in the mountains outside of Las Vegas with a “point-and-shoot” camera I picked up during the pandemic. I put point-and-shoot in quotes because it is actually a very capable little camera (Sony RX100VII).
Friendly neighborhood hummingbird
Taken with a used Sony A6000 “beater” camera I bought off ebay recently. Also featuring a manual Tamron 70-300mm lens adapted lens (which I also bought off eBay) via a Fotodiox adapter.
Shooting without image stabilization and a manual lens makes me feel like I’m actually doing something.
