In November of 2005, for the second time in my life, I packed up everything I owned and made a cross-country trek to the west coast. This time, instead of living in the San Francisco Bay area, I was heading to sunny southern California to try to get a foothold in the photography field.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
This infrared photo was taken en route — somewhere in eastern Utah, I believe.

One of my favorite things to do is trying to create harmonious compositions from chaos. The ones I like become part of my Beautiful Chaos series.
Here’s a shot from 2005 that I didn’t like then, but I really like now. I guess tastes change.
